Ok Pensive Pumpkin has a decadent Guiness Cake recipe at her blog courtesy of Nigella Lawson ... Pensive also had a dream sequence of her being Nigella and paying a visit to her dreamdate Alan Rickman.
So got me thinking a few things....
First, Guiness cake must be awesome.
Second, Nigella is a very lovely lady so I googled her.
She is 51 and is a tv cook personality that eats all sort of decadent things and consumes meat, butter, chocalate and desserts. And she looks awesome:
Then there is this woman who is also 51 yrs old. She is TV health guru Gillian McKeith, advocating a holistic approach to nutrition and health, and promoting exercise, a vegetarian diet which is high in organic fruits and vegetables. She recommends detox diets, colonic irrigation, and supplements.
I think I know which way I am going ...
bwhahahahaha!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEat more cake. Chase Alan Rickman to burn off the calories.
Done and done.
Love it!!!
You are forgetting that photo #one is caked with cosmetics and photoshop.
ReplyDeleteI will say that the people I know who eat organic raw/vegan diets and use herbal medicine tend to age much more favorably than those who eat novelty deserts. Burnsauce.
God. I'm sticking to butter...I will be back in a day or two and share somemore Catfunnies with you. I am having to WORK today and can't blog. Shesh. I hate it when my work gets in the way of haunting. Smile.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly I look forward to it.....
ReplyDeleteAnd Mantan nothing against healthy eating because despite the above post I usually do eat healthy with tons of veggies, the key is moderation and not denial, this omnivore will continue to indulge in Guinness Cake. BTW, Guinness beer has lower calories than most light beers
But surely makes you think!
